Psalm 101 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Psalm 101

Amplified Bible (AMP)

Psalm 101

A Psalm of David.

I will sing of mercy and loving-kindness and justice; to You, O Lord, will I sing.
I will behave myself wisely and give heed to the blameless way—O when will You come to me? I will walk within my house in integrity and with a blameless heart.
I will set no base or wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of them who turn aside [from the right path]; it shall not grasp hold of me.
A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil person or thing.
Whoso privily slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off [from me]; he who has a haughty look and a proud and arrogant heart I cannot and I will not tolerate.
My eyes shall [look with favor] upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks blamelessly, he shall minister to me.
He who works deceit shall not dwell in my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.
Morning after morning I will root up all the wicked in the land, that I may eliminate all the evildoers from the city of the Lord.

No matter what you are going through find a song in your heart and sing it to the Lord, if not with your mouth then with your spirit. Bless the Lord and He will sustain you. You will get through your struggle. Be blessed.

Set The Captives Free

Isaiah 61

Amplified Bible (AMP)
61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] [a]and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

This is one of my favorite scriptures. I to have been a captive and now I am set free. I have been going through some hard things for a good while now  and the Lord has shown Himself strong in my life. It has been very dark and yet the Lord has shown His beauty and light.
Several year ago about 7 to be precise. I started walking the track, it was my time with the Lord and time to pray for others or whatever God put on my heart. I was walking one day and the Lord told me to turn around and start walking the other direction, that He was changing my direction. I did it immediately and felt new.
Now this sounds strange but I needed to be obedient to the Lord. The track is a big circle, so there is no right or wrong direction. Everyone would go one way, the opposite of my direction. God put me face to face with these people. Different people would say hey you are going the wrong way. I would have to say No I am going the right way. I march to the beat of a different drummer.
It was a real ministry for a long while, but as you know life changes and hits you in the face. I stopped walking I had no time and I was just to tired because working nights just zaps you. This week I had some life-changing things happen and have been really shaken and heart broken. I started to walk the other night regardless of how I felt. Well today I was walking bright and early. I begin to walk my 3rd and final lap for the day when an older gentleman approached me and asked how many laps I walk. I told him I am just starting back I walk 3. He said oh because I never see you. We said our farewells and I kept walking. I started to cry a little. Something in the words the man spoke hit me. It set me free. I thought everyone used to know me out here and now they don't. I stated I am home. In that moment I felt the chains fall off of me. I felt so free.
I can't explain it. I just felt it. God is so good. I continued to walk I was almost done with my final lap when the Lord spoke to my heart and said I am changing your direction again. I want you to start walking in the other direction. I thought He meant starting tomorrow. No, He meant now. I turned and He said you are now going in the right direction. I have turned your situation around you are back on track, you are not walking into your past where you came from, you are walking in your future.Beauty will come out of all the ashes in your life.
If you are going through a dark time arise and know God is ready and able to set you free you just have to come and get it. Seek Him, surrender it all to Him. He has come to set the captives free to all who are bound up. Be free in Jesus name.
I thank you Lord for you are worthy, just, loyal and so faithful.

Psalms 34:18 “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

John 14:37 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Deuteronomy 31:6  “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Kisses Form Heaven

All the sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of the LORD upon the house, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave praise to the LORD, saying, " Truly He is good, truly His lovingkindness is everlasting." ... 2 Chron 7:3.

Oh God I give you praise this day for you alone are God and there is no other God but you. You are worthy of all the praise. I think it is so important to give praise to the Lord each and every day. Do you know that when we praise the Lord He stops and takes notice? I don't know about you but I sure want Him to take notice of me. He is my beloved and I love Him so. He is mighty, He is Just and pure and full of mercy. I want to tell Him how good He is, how sweet He is. When we pour our love out on Him He always pours more back on us. We can never out give God in anything. Tell Him how wonderful He is today and let Him lavish His love on you. Kisses from Heaven is what I like to call His love when He pours it out. Breathe in deep and drink it up.

Give Thanks

Thanksgiving to God

"Yours, O Lord,
is the greatness, the power,
the glory, the victory,
and the majesty.
Everything in the heavens
and on earth is Yours,

O Lord,
and this is Your kingdom.
We adore You
as the One who is over all things.
Wealth and honor come from You alone,
for You rule over everything.
Power and might are in Your hand,
and at Your discretion
people are made great and given strength.
O our God,

we thank You
and praise Your glorious name!"
(1 Chronicles 29:11-13, NLT)

Thanksgiving is a wonderful occasion for recalling and recounting how everything good comes from God. The Creator of the world and the Giver of Life itself warrants our worship. As this Bible passage clearly spells out, may we give God glory and honor on Thanksgiving and every day.
Thanksgiving for God-Given Joys
"You have turned my mourning into dancing for me;
You have put off my sackcloth
and girded me with gladness,
To the end that my tongue
and my heart
and everything glorious within me
may sing praise to You
and not be silent.
O Lord my God,
I will give thanks to You forever."
(Psalm 30:11-12, AMP)

This favorite Scripture resounds with rejoicing and thanksgiving to the Lord, who can redeem our sorrows and truly transform mourning into dancing. Does such a great God not deserve our appreciation, at Thanksgiving and always?
A Sacrifice of Thanksgiving
"He who offers
a sacrifice of thanksgiving
honors Me;
And to him who orders his way aright
I shall show the salvation of God."

(Psalm 50:23, NASB)

This oft-quoted Scripture points out how Thanksgiving is actually a sacrifice of praise to God. As we carve our Thanksgiving turkeys, may we stop to honor the One from whom all blessings come.
Thanksgiving and Gladness to God
"It is good to praise the Lord
and make music to your name,

O Most High,
to proclaim Your love in the morning
and Your faithfulness at night,
to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.
For You make me glad by your deeds, O Lord;
I sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
How great are Your works, O Lord,
how profound Your thoughts!"

(Psalm 92:1-5, NIV)

Praise The Lord

Psalms 117:1-2 - O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

Psalms 95:1-6 - O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Psalms 100:4 - Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name.
Ephesians 5:19 - Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Psalms 30:11 - Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

I just felt like giving the Lord a praise. He is so good and deserves all the praise. He is The light into the world. He is The Great I Am. He is The Healer, The Bright and Morning Star. The Rose of Sharon. He is the Living Son of God. He is whatever you need Him to be. He inhabits the praises of His people and it is music to His ears, a sweet fragrance unto him. I just want to pour out my love and worship on Him for all He is.

WITH ALL THEIR HEART

WITH ALL THEIR HEART
by David Wilkerson
[May 19, 1931 – April 27, 2011]

God makes certain, special promises to those who determine to seek Him with all
their hearts. One such promise is a covenant of His presence.

However, this covenant is strictly conditional. Scripture makes it clear that
if we abide by the rule of this covenant, we will enjoy the incredible blessing
of God's presence in our lives. And this does not refer only to issues of
salvation. It speaks of being such seekers after God that His awesome presence
is poured out on us and it is seen and known by all.

God revealed this covenant of His presence through an unnamed prophet who
delivered a message to Eli, the high priest of Israel. At the time, Eli was
backslidden. The Lord had been speaking to him, warning him against allowing
sin and compromise. But Eli had ignored all of God's words. Now this unnamed
prophet said to Eli, "The Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy
house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the
Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they
that despise me shall be lightly esteemed" (I Samuel 2:30).

The phrase "lightly esteemed" has to do with the lifting of God’s presence.
This does not mean a person is damned, but rather that he will have to walk in
the power of his own flesh. God was telling Eli, "I intended to bless your
house, to favor you. But you have scorned me, becoming soft on sin and allowing
your lusts to push me aside. Now I will take My presence from you."

Many people come to Christ with a great, initial burst of faith. Yet over time
their zeal wears thin, and they begin to neglect the Lord. They “lightly
esteem” His commands and turn back to their old, sinful ways. Yet they still
believe God's presence remains with them. But that is a lie, a delusion. The
Bible makes it clear that if you forsake Him, He will forsake you!

This is so true for today. People proclaim to be Christians and forsake the Lords commands, they live in their same sins doing as they please. God says He will not live in an unclean temple. They have a form of godliness but they deny that power that could set them free. They have lip service with the Lord. They speak about how they are Christians but their hearts are far from Him. They live in the flesh and not in the Spirit. We have so called pastors saying you are OK the way you are God accepts you. No, God accepts you when you repent. God hates sin, He can not even look at it. Turn from your wicked ways and follow the Lord with your whole heart. Quit playing church and decide what side you are on before the Lord removes His presence from you.

Faith Moves God cont...

There are times we go through so much we just want to give up, throw in the towel. This is a normal reaction for human flesh. It is hard to trust when you can not see the light at the end of that dark tunnel. But, God is there with you. At times some of want to or may have screamed and pitched a fit with God. It is not crying, yelling, whining or getting mad that moves God, it is Faith. Faith to believe that He has everything under control. Trust Him at all times. God wants you to praise your way through no matter the circumstances. Praise and worship will not only get you through it will build your faith. Remember faith pleases God not crying or throwing a fit. I have been guilty of just flat out pitching a fit with God as if He would give me what I wanted. When my children would throw a fit for something it would anger me and since they threw a fit I would definitely not get what they wanted. Now if they would have hugged me and waited I probably would have gotten what they wanted in my time. Praise God in ALL things. God will make a way where there seems to be no way.    http://grooveshark.com/s/Your+Love+Never+Fails+Chris+Quilala/5hSSAa?src=5

Faith Moves God

Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak. 2 Corinthians 4: 13

Scriptures On Faith bar
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11: 6(NKJV)

Scriptures On Faith bar

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
Romans 3: 28(NKJV)

Scriptures On Faith bar

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17: 20(NKJV)

Scriptures On Faith bar

Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health. Matthew 9: 22

Scriptures On Faith bar
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2: 17(NKJV)

Scriptures On Faith bar

But to one who, not working [by the Law], trusts (believes fully) in Him Who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (the standing acceptable to God). Romans 4: 5

Scriptures On Faith bar
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. Galatians 2: 16(NKJV)

Scriptures On Faith bar

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2: 20(NKJV)

Scriptures On Faith bar

To open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may thus receive forgiveness and release from their sins and a place and portion among those who are consecrated and purified by faith in Me. Acts 26:

Psalm 37 (King James Version)

Psalm 37

King James Version (KJV)

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

It is so easy in this day to fret over evildoers and their schemes. Everywhere you look you see evil being done and it seems that the wicked are prospering in their ways. If we do not keep your eyes on Jesus it will make us angry and envious. The word says not to be. How can we help it? We can help it by trusting in the Lord. Find that rest in the Lord, get to know Him. When you start spending some quiet time with the Lord, you will start to learn of his ways and trust in Him.Verse 4 says to delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. I believe that when you get to know the Lord more you will be delighted in his presence. The more you are delighted with being with Him you will want to please Him. The desires you once had will become the desires the Lord has for you because your heart will beat as one. Trust the Lord He knows your heart better than you. When you surround yourself with the good things of God it will not matter about the evildoers and their wicked schemes.  http://grooveshark.com/s/Still+Believe+Live/51TUJG?src=5
